Track 1: Vascular Physiology and Pathology

The Vascular system is also called as circulatory system or cardiovascular system. The study of Cardiovascular system is called Cardiovascular physiology, especially addressing the physiology of blood vessels and heart. These Subjects are addressed separately, under the name’s circulatory physiology and cardiac physiology. The vascular system is an organ system that allows blood to flow and transport nutrients such as amino acids and electrolytes in the body to supply nourishment. These help in fighting with the diseases, stabilize temperature, pH, and maintain homeostasis. Vascular system pathology is a Heart failure progressive loss of cardiac function cause in the heart not being able to keep up with the needs of the body. The vascular system is dynamic and always changing to controls blood flow to the body and its essential organs. The system of blood vessels with the heart at its center is critical to supply oxygenated blood, essential nutrients to organs, tissues and removing waste products.

  • Vascular medicine
  • Cardiac therapy
  • Vascular system pathology

 Tracks 2: Vascular Disease

The Vascular system is a network consisting of blood vessels, heart and the blood. The network provides tissues in the body with nutrients and oxygen, removes unnecessary waste products. Vascular disease is any abnormal condition of the arteries and veins (blood vessels). The body uses blood vessels to circulate blood. Problems along this huge network can cause serious disorders and death. Vascular diseases can occur at any time in anyone affecting men and women equally. Vascular disease most commonly occurs in blood flow, such as when the blood flow in the arteries changes direction abruptly. The most common vascular diseases

  • Carotid artery disease (CAD)
  • Peripheral artery disease (PAD)
  • Abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA)
  • Arteriovenous malformation (AVM)
  • Critical limb ischemia (CLI)
  • Pulmonary embolism (blood clots)
  • Deep vein thrombosis (DVT)

Track 3:  Cardiovascular Medicine and Cardiac Surgery

Cardiovascular Medicine is used to treat various diseases related to vascular system or circulatory system. Cardiovascular drugs refer to suggestion drugs and medicines for diseases relating to the structure and function of the heart and blood vessels and it also includes heart failure, coronary artery diseases, circulation disorders, blood clots, and others. Cardiovascular Medicine it is the provider of cardiovascular services specializing in the, detection, management, prevention and treatment of adult cardiovascular diseases.

Track 4: Vascular Surgery

Vascular surgery is branch of science that deals with the cardiovascular system or circulatory system or vascular system  i.e., lymphatic systemarteries and veins. It is part of a larger medical specialty. It is a surgical subspecialty in which diseases of the cardiovascular system or vascular system. It is the surgery that diagnosis and longitudinal management of disorders of the arterial, comprehensive, exclusive of the intracranial and coronary arteries, veins and arteries. This is a specialty developed from general and cardiac surgery as well as minimally invasive techniques developed by interventional radiology.

  • Cardiac remodelling
  • Cardiothoracic surgery
  • Minimally invasive surgery

Track 5: Vascular Oncology

Vascular oncology is the studied that deals with the heart condition in patients who have been treated for cancer(tumour) via their own blood supplies. Therapy may be given directly into the tumour itself, decreases the harm to the rest of the body. when the cancer patients take any other radiation treatment and certain types of cancer drugs, so the cardiologists estimate the development of heart conditions probably in the patients.

  • Cardio-oncology programs
  • Platinum-based chemotherapy agents
  • Chemotherapy-related cardiac dysfunctions
  • Radiation-induced heart disease
  • Targeting tyrosine Kinases for cancer therapy
  • Novel targeted therapies

Track 6: Women’s Cardiology

Heart diseases are increasing in women’s, that count up to one woman per minute by inflicting one in three deaths annually. Women have many misunderstanding regarding vascular disease during which could place them in danger. However, the heart diseases, like broken heart syndrome, coronary small tube malady and conjointly cause a risk for girls, these are the disorders that effect on women.

  • Pregnancy-related disorders and CVD risk association
  • Ischemic heart disease in women
  • Persistence of weight gain after pregnancy
  • Acute coronary syndromes in women

Track 7:  Pediatric Vascular Medicine

Pediatric Vascular is a branch of medicine deals with the various heart diseases in children, born. vascular diseases are the name given to a variety of illnesses that affect the veins and arteries of the body. In children these diseases generally effect the largest artery in the body, the aorta, and its branches to the kidneys and intestines. The most common diseases are that of the renal arteries. These are the main inflammatory defects for Babies Heart.

  • Hypoplastic left heart syndromes
  • Congenital abnormalities
  • Cardiac malformation
  • Auditory stimulation therapy
  • Myocarditis

Tracks 8: Vascular Bleeding Disorders

Vascular bleeding disorders are the defects in blood vessels, veins and arteries, frequently causing petechiae, purpura, and bruising but, except for hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia. In this vascular disorder, tests of hemostasis are usually normal. For most disorders, diagnosis is clinical; specific tests are available for some. The underlying defect is stated to be either in the vessels themselves or in the perivascular connective tissue. Vascular defects causing abnormal bleeding are rare. In cases of vitaminC deficiency (scurvy), capillary integrity is lost, and blood seeps into the tissues.

  • Disseminated intravascular coagulation (DIC)
  • Congenital platelet function defects.
  • Prothrombin deficiency
  • Acquired platelet function defects

Tracks 9: Non-Pharmacological Approach to Vascular Diseases

Non-pharmacological approach in this treatment that do not involve drugs. The goals of non-pharmacological interventions are to decrease fear, distress and anxiety, and to reduce pain and provide patients with a sense of control. There is increasing proof that individuals who have suffered from a stroke can significantly benefit from organized stroke care during their period of recovery. Non-pharmacological approach (treatments that do not involve drugs) may play an important role in prevention of a secondary vascular event and reducing vascular risk factors. Considering the small sample and methodological limitation, no implications on the effectiveness of non‐pharmacological approach post‐stroke can be drawn.

Non-pharmacological measures for the management of vascular diseases.

Track 10: Pharmacotherapeutic Approach to Vascular Diseases

Pharmacotherapy approach to vascular diseases it is the treatment of the disorder or diseases with the meditation. Cardiovascular pharmacology deals with the medication of heart diseases. It is fundamental mechanisms of cardiovascular cells and how drugs influence the vascular system. The drugs are used to treat various conditions vascular system, circulatory system or cardiovascular system. There are many types of cardiovascular drugs in the market Cardiac glycosides

  • Anti-coagulants.
  • Anti-arrhythmic agents.
  • Anti-anginal agents.
  • Anti-hypertensive agents.

Track 11: Clinical and Translational Vascular Medicine

Clinical vascular medicine is branch of science that deals with the blood vessels, veins and arteries. The branch of science that deals with treatment heart diseases is called clinical cardiology. Cardiologists frequently specialize.

Translational vascular medicine is fundamental to understanding how to treat patients with vascular disease and more basically, how to prevent it. TVM will become the main reason for referring patient to hospital.  Hospital-based clinicians working with fundamental scientists need to know about Translational vascular medicine, which teaches and informs them about vascular medicine.

Track 12: Endovascular Intervention

In endovascular treatment during the past 10 years have broadened the option for treating the vascular diseases. Endovascular treatment provides a lower risk alternative to open surgery in many patients. Non-invasive physiological tests and arterial imaging proceed an endovascular intervention and help localize the diseases and plan the procedure. The timing and need for revascularization are broadly related to the 3 main clinical presentations of Endovascular procedures are considered when these fails to improve quality of life and function.

  • Claudication
  • Acute limb ischemia
  • Critical limb ischemia

Track 13: Vascular Imaging and Diagnostic Testing

Present era Vascular imaging starts in 1970’s, it is the golden period for vascular imaging due to amazing innovations like Doppler and Ultrasound, Magnetic resonance imaging, nuclear medicine and the introduction of computers and Computed tomography. This is a period of non-invasion methods that provides information of lumen of the vessel but also of the wall and outside the vessel thereby allowing an evaluation of vascular diseases. Vascular imaging is the general term for a non-invasive painless test that uses high-frequency sound waves to image blood vessels including veins and arteries.

Vascular studies are tests that check the blood flow in your veins and arteries. These tests are non-invasive, that means they don't use any needles. Vascular studies use high-frequency sound waves (ultrasound) to measure the amount of blood flow in your blood vessels.

Track 14: Public Health and Epidemiology

Epidemiology may be considered as the technique of public health and scientific method to examine sickness and fitness problems. Epidemiology consists of lookup scheme and precise strategies for counting and calculating the occurrence and hazard of disease. Therefore, epidemiological studies of drug use these techniques and statistical measures to find out about the prevalence and distribution of drug use and problems associated with it. Epidemiology is the study of affecting the health of a given population. All these together, act as a concept known as preventive medicine. The goal of public health is to develop lives through the treatment of disease.

  • Epidemiology and community health
  • Epidemiology and disability
  • Epidemiology and aging
  • Epidemiology and mental health

Track 15: Advance Approach to Vascular Diseases
