Vascular Physiology and Pathology

The cardiovascular system and circulatory system are other names for the vascular system. Cardiovascular physiology is the study of the cardiovascular system, with a focus on the physiology of the heart and blood arteries. Separate sections on these topics are covered under the headings of circulatory physiology and cardiac physiology. The vascular system is an organ system that permits blood to circulate while carrying nutrients like electrolytes and amino acids throughout the body to provide nourishment. These aid in maintaining homeostasis regulating pH and temperature and battling illnesses. The heart's inability to keep up with the body's demands is caused by the progressive loss of cardiac function caused by vascular system pathology.
